FOTD with D&G'due south Beauty Voyage Spring 2016

Prepare for the warmer weather

Hullo, anybody! I thought I'd share my face of the twenty-four hours and thoughts on two new-to-me products: Dolce & Gabbana Bound 2016 The Dazzler Voyage ($150) and The Body Shop's Fresh Nude Foundation ($25).

The Body Store Fresh Nude Foundation in Bora Bora

Since I wanted a sheer and hydrated look, I decided to effort out the Trunk Shop's new Fresh Nude foundation. With a medium semi-matte finish, it gives a Picayune glow with none of that bad-mannered greasy 5 p.m. face.

It starts out sticky, but it lasts well for around 6 or 7 hours on my oily-combo face. If yous accept normal to dry out skin, you lot may really like this option!

The Beauty Voyage palette for Spring 2016

Is anyone else "ooohing" and "aahing" correct now? Because this is a GORGEOUS little palette, isn't it? Information technology'southward very heavy and very glam! Dolce & Gabbana actually created this to be a full-face travel palette, and information technology includes 4 neutral eyeshadows, one chroma, 1 illuminator, and two lip colors. These are all existing products in the D&G line, so information technology's also a not bad introduction to the brand.

The eyeshadows feel very…what's the give-and-take…elegant? I concluded upward applying my eyeshadow in classic Lisa Eldridge fashion — instead of packing on the pigment, I was more trying to emphasize my eye shape and add a soft reflection to the centre of my chapeau.

The blush is a beautiful matte color, and the illuminator is more like a pressed powder with sparkle (you'll either beloved it or hate information technology).

While I know that Dolce & Gabbana excels with powders, I was blown away by the lipsticks! Maybe I gave up on the idea of a face palette too presently. The classic red lipstick, Devil 620, is ridiculously pigmented in a thin formula, and I highly recommend using the lip brush for accurateness.

Dear 130 serves more as a lip tint, and I could apply this dabbed on with my finger.
